A dedicated conference at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and healthcare, Interactive Health provides an opportunity for our community to develop scholarship on the topic, through knowledge sharing, perspective exchange, collaborations, and mentoring opportunities, to develop a truly global HCI+Health research agenda.
The first ACM Interactive Health conference was held in July, 2026, in Porto Portugal. Join us for the next Interactive Health, 24-27 October, 2027, in Toronto, Canada.
Following our first special issue on Human-Centered Computing in Healthcare, in partnership with ACM Transactions on Computing for Healthcare, we are pleased to announce a continuous Special Section on Human-Centered Computing in Healthcare. Learn more in the call for papers.
Authors of papers accepted by a cutoff to be determined will be invited to present their work at Interactive Health 2027 in Toronto this October. Most submissions go through more than one round of revision, and each round typically takes about three months. Authors hoping to present in Toronto should submit by December to leave time for a final decision.
